Basic guide for Bakal Raid Static

Important things to consider

  1. If you still haven't read gimmicks n stuff, go do it, link here, if you consistently fail them and/or people complain about you. I will take it into consideration for planning.
  2. I plan the schedule for the benefit of most people possible, if you are not in it, may it be time, character strength, coordination with the rest... Reasons could be many, deal with it, pm me (Nichika#6934) if you have any questions.
  3. Feedback is the most important thing here, suggestions, need to complain about how the raid went, need to complain about someone, etc..., send it to me. I will guarantee your privacy and try to fix them at the best of my abilities.
  4. Please leave your feelings at the door before entering, we are here to CLEAR the raid, if shit goes down, I need as much info as possible in order to fix them, being angry or sad will not help me or the others.
  5. If you are unhappy with the raid, need a break, or do not wish to stay here, you may leave whenever you want, nothing personal will be taken. This is a GAME, your life is more important than that and no one will judge you for that, do what you think it's best for you.

Bakal raid planning

The raid is a single phase "just drop Bakal's hp to 0% or lose if his fury reaches 100%", plain and simple. For the planning, I will divide the raid into 2 phases, each team will have different roles depending on which phase it is. This is the simple format of how things will be ran

The colors of the creatures will be Hard Medium Easy difficulties, clicking on them will send you to the dfoarchive page of that boss

Most important things to do in raid

  1. Know where to go
  2. Don't die
  3. Do gimmicks
  4. Deal damage

Normal

They attack the base, grant buffs

  • Troopers
  • Buff boss
  • Zamir

Zone-locked

They grant dragon specific buffs, clear them to get the buff that affects the dragon we're going to fight

Gatekeepers

Must be cleared to fight the main dragon, unlocks tp when defeated. Except Petilisk, they are BURST on entry and kill ASAP

For the future of Empyrean, they must be slain


Phase 1 - Opening phase

Team roles

Most important things to note during this phase

Red team flowchart

  1. Check where Zamir has spawned
  2. Defeat the trooper in that lane
  3. Defeat Zamir
  4. Defeat the gatekeepeer of the first awakened dragon
  5. Use the immunity buff obtained from that gatekeeper to defeat another dragon
  6. Defeat Zone-locked boss that grants buff against the first dragon that has awakened
  7. Defeat the awakened dragon after yellow clears gatekeeper

Red team failsafes

If Red fails to clear the awakened dragon

  1. Check if Zamir is up soon
  2. If Zamir is not up soon, then enter Bakal and let Green take care of that dragon
  3. Yellow enters the awakened dragon
  4. Red enters Bakal once they are ready, tell Green to retreat
  5. Green will clear buffs, see buff clear order for more info
  6. Red stays in Bakal until Green clears a buff and is ready to re-enter Bakal

If Yellow fails to clear the awakened dragon

  1. Red enters the awakened dragon if they are done, otherwise, Yellow will enter Bakal, Green will enter awakened dragon after obtaining corresponding immunity buff
  2. If Green defeats awakened dragon before Yellow recovers, they will enter Bakal once Red retreats
  3. If Green cannot defeat the awakened dragon, Green will retreat and Red will enter, Yellow enters Bakal
  4. While Red is defeating the awakened dragon and Yellow is in Bakal, check with Yellow if they need to retreat, if they need to retreat, Green will enter Bakal, otherwise clear buffs or gatekeeper if another dragon has awakened
  5. Proceed raid as usual, Red take buff, Yellow defeat gatekeeper, Green stays in Bakal

Yellow team flowchart

  1. Defeat trooper where Zamir isn't
  2. Obtain immunity buff from a gatekeeper or area dragon to fight the awakened dragon
  3. Kill dragon, then repeat for the last remaining dragon or enter Bakal if Red wants to kill the other dragon
  4. Wait until red clears Zamir
  5. Defeat Gatekeeper whose dragon has awakened
  6. Clear buffs, see buff clear order
  7. Stay alert to possible failsafes

Green team flowchart

  1. Defeat Bakal gatekeeper Petrilisk
  2. Enter Bakal
  3. Stay until Yellow or Red is ready to enter Bakal
  4. Clear buffs or gatekeepers, see buff clear order

Green team failsafes

If you fail to stay in Bakal until Red is ready (boom or time limit)

  1. Yellow will enter Bakal ASAP
  2. Clear buffs once you recover, see buff clear order
  3. Stay alert to possible failsafes
  4. If Red fails awakened dragon and Yellow is in Bakal, Green will enter awakened dragon
  5. If Red clears awakened dragon and there's another awakened dragon, clear gatekeeper

Phase 2 - Rotating phase

Team roles

The logic here is simple, rotate Red and Yellow between defeating the main dragons and lower Bakal's hp, Green will be the gate openers after they retreat from Bakal, Green team will be the firefighters now

  1. VERY IMPORTANT: Check with Green team first, if they can hold on for the time it takes Yellow to defeat a gatekeeper, Green stays, repeat Yellow defeating gatekeeper and Red entering main dragon, if they can't, Green will retreat, Yellow will enter Bakal
  2. Green's role will now defeating buff minibosses and gatekeepers
  3. While Yellow is in Bakal, Red will defeat a buff boss, Green will defeat gatekeeper of the next awakened dragon
  4. Red will enter main dragon once gatekeeper is defeated
  5. Check with Yellow team, if they need to retreat, Green will enter, if they can stay, Green will defeat a buff boss
  6. Once Red is done with the main dragon, Yellow will retreat and Red will enter Bakal
  7. Yellow opens the next gatekeeper, Green keeps defeating buff bosses
  8. Once the last main dragon is open, Red will retreat from Bakal and enter the main dragon, Yellow will enter Bakal
  9. If Red fails to clear main dragon, Green enters, Red clears buffs until they are ready to enter Bakal
  10. Rotate Red and Yellow in Bakal, Green team and the team that's not fighting Bakal will continue clearing buffs

Buff clear order

  1. Zamir if you need to enter dragon, else ignore
  2. Zone-locked buff boss if the matching main dragon has not been defeated yet and you want to enter that dragon, else ignore
  3. Petrilisk / Other gatekeeper if the main dragon is defeated
  4. Dragonoid warrior/Rotund
